The Service Spine Surgery and Scoliosis Center, located on the third floor of our hotel, was established ten years by Prof. Pierpaolo Mura in collaboration with Dr. Mauro Costaglioli and other esteemed experts, is today 's proud to be counted among the centers of excellence in Italy for the quality, experience and results within the Spinal Surgery and participation in science.

Prof. Pierpaolo Mura, chaired the National Congress of Spine Surgery GIS (Italian Group for Scoliosis), which was held for the first time in Sardinia, Cagliari, 24 to 26 May 2007 with the scientific coordination of Dr. Mauro Costaglioli.

The diseases treated in the Department are:

• Deformity (severe scoliosis and kyphosis of 'adolescent and adult)
• Degenerative diseases and malformations (spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, disk disease, lumbar and cervical disc herniations, cervical myelopathy)
• Outcomes of trauma, osteoporotic fractures, metastatic etc.
